JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON
FLIGHTLINE AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN
The Schreifer Group led a planning process that broadly consisted of two stages: data gathering and analysis, and an on-site planning workshop.
The resulting JBER Airfield District Area Development Plan (ADP) provides a 20-year development plan that would greatly reduce the need for waivers to airfield planning standards, provide modernized infrastructure for critical missions, and result in an efficient use of limited land and facility resources.

USAG JAPAN MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING CONDITION ASSESSMENT, DEVELOPMENT PLAN & 1391s
This project was a multi-stage effort to respond to a current Headquarters Installation Management Command (IMCOM) led Housing Market Analysis and create a requirements-driven end state for housing at Camp Zama and Sagamihara Family Housing Area (SFHA).
The project included a BUILDER assessment of 894 housing units, a charrette to develop a planning vision for housing, and a planning charrette and 1391 development for priority projects from the housing development plan.

KADENA LODGING DISTRICT
AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Our team led a planning effort to provide a detailed, long-range plan for the Lodging District at Kadena Air Base in Japan. The plan consolidated geographically dispersed lodging facilities, maximized lodging capacity, and enhanced connections to adjacent community-centric facilities. A recreation trail will connect the district to shopping and dining amenities, providing both a fitness and wayfinding benefit.
The plan ultimately creates a well-connected, walkable community with modern, inviting facilities and integrated greenspaces; upgrades a main installation thoroughfare; and preserves a significant area for future growth.
