The Schreifer Group provided technical subject matter expertise to produce explosives safety site plans for more than 4,000 storage magazines located at more than 30 Navy installations throughout the world. The explosives storage capabilities were maximized for each installation.

TSG served as the lead developer for the Magazines Storage Requirements Calculator, which was used to produce Basic Facility Requirement (BFR) documents for explosives storage facilities at each Navy installation.

Our team led a planning effort to provide a detailed, long-range plan for four Munitions Storage Area (MSA) districts at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska.

The plan considered interactions between these geographically dispersed operations and storage areas. Each area was optimized for future explosives mission requirements. Our team worked closely with stakeholders to develop mission-specific solutions for each area.

The Schreifer Group provided explosives safety siting analysis expertise to support the US Army in creating a new storage facility in Poland. The design required analysis of both US and NATO (AASTP-1) criteria, as well as physical security for the site.

The concept design supported the US Army Europe (USAREUR) in developing a feasible, cost-effective facility plan that can be used for a design-build contract statement of work.
