John Jackson

Explosives Safety Planner

John Jackson has over 28 years of dedicated military / civilian service with the United States Marine Corps, United States Air Force and one year as a civilian employee with the United States Space Force, including 15 years as a Munitions Systems Specialist (2W0) and 9 years as an Explosives Safety Manager. John has established himself as an industry leader while being stationed at various DoD locations, including five military deployments and assigned as the primary explosives safety manager at four installation safety offices. 

 

Combining technical expertise with a steadfast dedication to safety, John has played a pivotal role in developing over 300 explosive site plans (ESPs) at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas; Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona; and Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, California. 

 

John holds an MBA degree from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business, focusing on leadership and supply chain management. He is also pursuing a Doctor of Professional Practice (DPP) at Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, with an expected graduation in 2027. 

 

In addition to his academic achievements, John has earned multiple annual, quarterly, and monthly explosives safety awards throughout his military career.
